To be able
to see and understand
another person’s
point of view
is a great asset.

The biggest challenge
occurs when
that point of view
contradicts your own.

The importance
is not
in the contradiction,
it is
in your ability
to step outside
your own beliefs.

To step beyond
your comfort zone,
to allow another
to voice their opinion,
even while doing so
you want to disagree.

Disagreement
is a failure
to understand.

Disagreement
is a failure
to communicate.

Disagreement
is believing
there is only one way.

Disagreement
is failing
to acknowledge others.

Points of view
can vary
and that is okay.

A willingness
to listen,
a willingness
to appreciate differences
expands understanding.

In reality,
the differences
in points of view,
may end up
being trivial.

Let us all
listen,
aim
to understand,
and appreciate
each other’s
point of view.

Agreement
enhances cooperation,
yet
is not always necessary.

Understanding,
respect,
and acknowledgement
can be our goals.

Acknowledging
and recognising
our differences,
enables expansion
of ourselves.

We can move forward,
we can live in harmony,
it is up to us,
let us make that move.
