As I
look at
the list
of poem titles.

I see
a snapshot
of
my life.

So many
words
over
so many
years.

The stories
that have been
told.

The stories
yet
to be told.

Did I
for one moment
think that
I would be
a storyteller?

Not,
for even
one moment.

Yet,
in reality,
I am.

Wow,
life
really does
present you
with some
really unusual
opportunities.

What opportunity
is
being presented
to you
now?

What opportunity
is that,
you say?

Well,
before you
now,
and
always
before you,
are
opportunities.

For
life is
about
opportunities.

Those ones
you chose
to take up.

And
the others,
which become,
what ifs?

By the way,
do not spend
too much time
on
the what ifs.

For
they are,
just that,
what if.

What is,
is
where
you are,
always
have been,
always
will be.

No regrets,
no looking back,
just
moving forward.

Welcome
to
your life
and
your opportunities.

Where will
they take you
now?
